Purpose of the role:
To support and further expand our presence in Greater China, bringing pedagogical expertise to the design and execution of high quality teacher training, academic consultancy and business development in the region.<®xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office">

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver in-depth training to customers, sales teams and distributors including commercial product presentations and methodology talks
• Provide academic support to customers and sales teams, such as advising on materials, curriculum and ELT solutions
• Expand and develop a team of freelance trainers across Greater China
• Support Asia marketing campaigns in terms of planning and developing suitable marketing messages and materials
• Support professional development team with on-going academic projects
• Analyze our own and competitor products / services key features and benefits
• Provide editorial feedback and field research to ensure suitability of new publications for the region
• Help look for and develop new business opportunities in the region, particularly in emerging markets
• Carry out any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bilingual (English / Mandarin Chinese)
• Bachelor's Degree
• An internationally recognized ELT related professional qualification, preferably at a Diploma or Master’s level
• A minimum of 5 years’ ELT teaching experience, including teaching experience in Greater China (across age groups and environments)
• Previous teacher training experience, preferably including training Young Learner and Private Language school teachers
• Sound knowledge and understanding of ELT practice and methodology
