Position: Project Coordinator

Division/Department: Purchasing

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

This position ensures the planning and steering of Purchasing Common Sourcing projects locally in China. His/ her responsibility is to coordinate the WOB-China-CSC related activities with all involved departments and parties (JVs, VGC, VW AG), and to provide support to the department head.

Your Responsibilities:

? Preparation, coordination and support of negotiations for Common Sourcing Strategy

? Sourcing Project Planning

? Sourcing Project tracking and Reporting

? Sourcing Project coordination

Our Requirements:

? Master degree

? Demonstrate flexibility, reliability and ability to maintain confidentiality

? Proven organizational skills to manage a busy, fast paced operation

? Excellent analytical skills

? Ability and maturity to solve problems independently

? High attention to detail and accuracy

? Ability to handle priorities

? Ability to handle the complexity of interfaces globally

? Excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination skills

? Ability to build solid working relationships with all departments and numerous outside contacts

? Strong team player

? Customer oriented

? At least 5 years of working experience in a multinational automobile company

? At least 3 years of working experience in Purchasing or experience of project management

? Knowledge to the WOB entity & work processes is a plus

? High proficiency in foreign languages (Chinese, German and English)

? Need to handle technical vocabulary in Chinese and German

? Advanced knowledge of office software applications (will have to use VW internal software such as TEVON, etc.)

? Advanced knowledge of project management
