DESIGNER MERCANTILE
We are looking for an enthusiastic, eager-to-learn young professional specialized within 3D-sketch and rendering to support our team. With a keen and interested eye for aesthetics and product design you will support our team by creating simple and beautiful presentations to be used as a sales mix for our customer pool of European brands and retailers.
You will join an international team of dedicated colleagues and will engage in daily contact with our procurement team. We share the same strong values, a solid team spirit and a relaxed informal working environment
ABOUT THE JOB
As a designer your main responsibility areas of responsibilities will be:
1. Liaising with merchandisers internally to derive, conceptualize and visualize product concepts.
2. Responsible for producing drawings and photorealistic renderings in the relevant scope set by merchandisers and line manager.
3. Ability to work independent based on a requirements brief
4. Ability to propose sound solutions for products based on a keen knowledge about materials and physical limitations
5. Other jobs assigned by line manager.
Your daily work will include a wide variety of tasks related to design processes ranging from initial idea and product development to execution of presentation iterations.
The job holds a great level of many touchpoints to learn about conceptualization, construction design, materials, aesthetics and readability of presentations. You will be working close to members of a procurement team and will report to the Division Manager of the Mercantile Division.
YOUR QAULIFICATIONS AND PROFILE：
We Imagine you have a few years of working experience in working in CAD, doing 2D and 3D modelling as well as 3D presentations – preferably in product design. We expect that you will be proficient in English in speech and writing.
We hope that you have a keen interest in product visualization and have a good sense of aesthetics. A background in Industrial design is ideal but not expected.
