Main Responsibilities:
1, Act as an interface between Marketing/Sales organization (Brand-, Country-, Product-, channel- manager) and the supply chain department (supply planning, material replenishment etc).
2, Plan by collecting an evaluating relevant information from the stakeholders (Marketing-Events, sales input, XXL orders etc)
3, Initiate, plan, and lead the regular communication with Sales/marketing Organization on all updated market information, promotion preparation, forecasting, overstock reduction, etc.
4, Coordinate the omni-channel demand forecast in a monthly meeting with the marketing/sales Manager but should also communicate on a weekly/ daily basis with fixed agenda which defined by demand planning process.
5, Apply an extensive understanding of supply chain planning practices and procedures to identify areas of improvement in order to create efficient demand planning techniques and tools/systems
6, Lead to establish, execute, and improve demand planning process, methodology, system, and tools. Activities include:
? Resolves forecast-related issues
? Maintains and updates forecast data
? Develops and edits more complex forecasting models/methodology
? Develop & optimize forecast process of a complicated product portfolio, multiple sites, and multi-channel with long term outlook
7, Advises and counsel internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, plant operation, procurement, logistics, and etc) on the impacts of demand plan. This includes all aspects regarding to costs, implication on capacity, service, and etc
8, Actively participate in and contributes to OR leads cross functional teams to design, evaluate, recommend and implement common work processes, and improvement projects
Qualifications:
1, College Degree or above
2, At least 5 years track record of demand planning or a mixture of demand planning & sales/marketing experience; Must have good exposure to B2B, B2C/B2B2C, and short-lifecycle products planning
3, Process and result oriented
4, Good at analysis and statistics, reporting, logical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, communication, and inter-personal
5, Ability to handle complexity & ambiguity; Strong judgement, decisive with good conflict management, Strong planning & presentation skills
6, Proficient in IT tools, mainly MS Office software (Excel, Access), SAP-user/ERP experience is of benefit
7, A good team leader as well as a team player. Strong in management and leadership
