Senior Web Engineer - Marketing Platform

At Marketing Platform, we build the core platform and services that power Coupang’s growth. Our products and services help marketers make intelligent decisions on best marketing channels to use for the ideal set of target customers at the most appropriate time. We use real-time stream processing and machine learning to build scalable AI services that will be used across all of Coupang.
 
What You'll Do
? Build scalable systems that will have a direct impact on customer acquisition, experience, conversion and retention
? Collaboration with product owners, stakeholders and designers to implement new applications
? Design the common front code convention and share best practices and improve processes within and across agile teams, and mentor more junior developers
? Design scalable front architecture and implement the UI based on the UI wireframe from designer and ensure the development quality

Qualifications:
? Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science or related
? At least 5 years’ experience in web frontend development
? Have deep understanding of browser internal mechanism
? Experience with object oriented programming and expert in Javascript, HTML5, CSS
? Extensive experiences in different UI framework/tools like Jquery, Reactjs, requirejs, AngularJS, SCSS/LESS...etc(at least expert in one of them)
? Deep understanding of MVC/MVP/MVVM etc design pattern, experiences in designing and implementing the modular design
? Extensive experiences in tuning the front performance and have visible result example.
? Must be able to make the design trade off with best suitable framework and tool.
? Good knowledge about network, front cache, HTTP/2 and RESTful specification
? Mobile web development experience is a plus
