Job Objective
Plan, organize and implement recruitment activities for the mandated positions of the assigned portfolio and assist in driving and coordinating various recruitment-related initiatives.
Principal Responsibilities
*Execute end-to-end recruitment activities for the mandated positions of the assigned portfolio
*Assist in the planning, organizing and execution of various recruitment initiatives
*Maintain strong working relationship with BHR in meeting ongoing recruitment needs according to approved headcount and budget
*Build strong working relationship with BU/SU managers in understanding their recruitment needs and efficiently identifying right candidates for the vacancies
*Promote DBS as an employer of choice and attract talents from the market to join the Bank
*Manage the recruitment cost of the Bank via using the most cost-effective sourcing channels, partnering with Universities/Vocation training schools and working closely with BHR
*Assist in the selection process of other bank-wide initiatives including Management Association Program and Summer Internship Program, etc.
*Manage the Preferred Agency List and the professional relationship with various recruitment vendors. E.g., search firms, recruitment media, etc.
*Improve the recruitment process continuously for achieving the highest recruiting efficiency while ensure the relevant recruitment policies and procedures are compliant with the Bank’s standard and the respective employment laws and regulations
*Assist the VP, Talent Management and Acquisition in the assigned projects
*Maintain a professional level of knowledge of employment law & emerging HR practices and trends including best practices in the market
*Devise a mechanism to track recruitment related cost and operate within stipulated budget and achieve target savings and set up metrics to measure the success of our strategy
Relevant Experience
? Possess 5-8 yr.’s experience in HR as generalist or recruitment specialist
? Previous working experience in major banks or other financial institutions or other industries that require high standard of HR professionalism is preferred
? Exposure in large scale recruitment project or Management Associate Program is an advantage
Competencies
*Good understanding of HR process and practices, especially on talent acquisition and hiring
*Ability to build strong relationship with clients and provide professional HR advice to the working partners and develop solutions
*Professional interviewing and assessment skills
*Good understanding of up-to date online recruitment tools and sourcing platforms
*Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizing skills, and able to perform multi-tasking
*Well versed in the employment laws & regulations and up-to date market trends and practices
*Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to recruitment areas
*Customer service orientation and in line with DBS core Values
*Excellent MS office OC skills
*Degree holder in HR, Business Admin or a related discipline such as Business Management, Finance, Economics, Psychology
