Graphics System Engineer in Shanghai
Job Duties:
? Go through HW architecture documents and use case documents to identify SW feature set
? Scope, design and implement system level features cross multiple domains
? Debug, triage system level issues among multiple software components, be it in OS, application, driver, VBIOS, SBIOS, FW
? Work independently but also collaboratively among multiple functional team as an important SW driving force
? Drive customer issue solving and deliver finely tuned answers or fixes in timely manner
Requirements:
? 8+ years working experience in system software domain
? Strong generic software programming and reading skills including –
o C and C++ essentials
o Overall software architecture and interfaces
o Effective debugging skills in kernel mode / user mode (windbg is preferred. memory dump analysis, dissemble, etc.)
o Version control (Perforce, git)
? Strong in OS and device driver knowledge
? Deep understanding in system architecture and HW/FW/SW interaction
? Strong verbal and email communication skill
? Strong in technical analysis, efficient in information collection and organization
? Strong self-motivation to learn new technology and expand technical domain in a fast-pacing team
? Work in an international company with teams across different time zones
