Job Description:
SQE manager to be base in Webasto shanghai office in very multinational working environment for Webasto Thermo & Comfort System China and global business support. Need to focus on supplier quality perspective works on global
sourcing, corporate LCC improvement campaign, Thermo heating productions localization…. Will work with purchasing function to conduct supplier audit for supply base development and resolve quality issues, global sourcing programs and localization programs SQ process. Monitor supplier quality performance and push for continuous quality improvement. Report to global SQE head and China purchasing head.

Responsibilities:
1. Evaluation and approval (VDA6.3 P1) of new suppliers for production material
2. Supplier development and quality management with Purchasing and other cross-functional Department
2. Supplier process audit and performance monitoring
3. Lead APQP-process with suppliers in close cooperation with Engineering, Purchasing and Headquarter functions in Germany
4. Review suppliers’ PPAP submissions and approval in cooperation with Headquarters
5. Report and track supplier performance such as quality issues and 8D and cost recover to lead supplier continuous improvement activities during mass production
6. Follow up suppliers corrective action plans originated from Audits, quality claims or PPAP deviations

Qualification Criterion:
1. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Auto Engineering
2. more than 5 years working experience and at least 3 years in auto components manufacturing industry or relevant mechanical/electronic manufacturing industry.
3. Familiar with IATF16949, ISO9001, AIAG-Standards like APQP, VDA6.3 and experienced with APQP、PPAP、FMEA、SPC、MSA、8D tools and method.
4. Very good technical understanding in manufacturing processes, e.g. stamping, die casting, plastic injection molding or others
5. Initiative and proactive with very good communication skills, team work style. Experience in an international working environment.
6. Fluent English reading, writing and speaking.
7. Suitable for frequent business trips.
