Sandvik in Shanghai Xinzhuang is seeking for a
Regional Sales Manager -Tube China for BUSINESS UNIT TUBE APAC

In the new global organization setup of Business Unit Core and Standard, BU Core and Standard APAC includes Regional Sales areas in APAC along with the supply units PU Mehsana and PU Zhenjiang. Together, the Sales Regions and the Supply Units, play a pivotal role in Driving Growth in the Region for Tube in APAC.
We are now looking for a Regional Sales Manager – Tube China for the organization,Business Unit Tube APAC.The location for this position is Shanghai .Salary could be negotiable.

Key performance area:

As Regional Sales Manager for Tube China your prime responsibility is to lead and develop sales activities in order to maximize profitability and sales growth in Sales Area China.
? Included in your responsibility is to
? Ensure personal and team safety, promoting a “Safety First” culture
? Drive Sales and Key Strategic Marketing initiatives to meet Sales Plans in the region.
? Develop the next level of growth strategy for Tube in China.
? Identify Key focus segments and industries Prioritisation with Accelerated new market development plan.
? Execution on price and profitability frameworks owned by BU product management
? Drive Sales Team performance through the use of effective and regular performance management
? Work with the Supply units in Asia and Globally to service our customers and optimized utilisation of Regional Production Footprint.
? Work with Stock and Product assortment and locations
? Work with the management team of BU Tube APAC to support and build the Business Unit as a Key Management team member of the BU.
? Actively drive and seek for Global Synergies within Tube with local adaption.
? Business performance review reporting to the Business Unit Manager Tube Core and Standard-ASIA
? Budget and forecast including A&S
? People management responsible - performance dialogues, Development, SEmp, Training, Diversity & inclusion, Talent & Succession and incentive management
? Responsible for best in class SOP's for main business processes
? Assuring adherence to group compliance as well as local legal and taxation rules
? Build, lead and maintain capable organization (sales management, inside- and field-sales ) to fulfill the short- and long term plans in view of market share and profitability of the different product accounts
? Have direct contact with the most important customers for the region
? Apply frames and set individual salaries, bonus objectives in compliance with SANDVIK`s guidelines and the local legal requirements

Your profile:

We expect that you have a degree in a engineering field and an additional degree in management is preferred but not mandatory. You have a proven track record managing geographically remote and diverse teams. Experience of value based selling, technical marketing is desirable. Strong leadership and a combination of business and technical skills are also essential as well as excellent performance management skills. Customer and business related network is advantageous.
You are dedicated, result oriented and with a genuine interest and passion for sales. With excellent communication skills, you have an ability to inspire and motivate your team. With a perceptive personality, you easily create a trusting environment for collaboration, team work and sharing of best practice between boarders. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Other language skills are advantageous.
This position includes extensive travelling.

As a person you are proactive, self-motivated and one with lot of initiative, courage and integrity and a business minded, result oriented attitude. You also have strong communication skills and can work in an English environment.
