Target agreement
Compliance with the targets conjointly agreed on with the customer about quality, costs and dates (Q-C-D) by use of the essential result-securing procedure (e.g. risk management, FMEA, modification management, scheduling); to develop and execute plans with project teams to achieve targets and program deliverables; set performance targets
in order to
meet customer (Daimler) requirements at optimal economic efficiency.
Coordination and planning of projects
Utilization of documented courses for the product development (list of open points, gate process, PTO/PTD) including definition of work packages and realization of gate reviews as well as assurance of the team’s working capacity (use of potentials and individual competences) under consideration of services to be included; prepare and execute project reviews at head office in Korea and Germany; coordinating activities between project team in China, Korea and Germany; define and manage program interfaces with outside partners, suppliers, customer and parent companies as well as within HBPO; manage international project team including team members located locally and team members located overseas in Korea and Germany and in overseas plants/locations. Promote team cohesion toward common goals and team adhesion to company values; proactively initiate, facilitate and maintain communication and solve issues with central functions in Korea and Germany and with parent companies; takes over full project responsibility after nomination from sales team; coordinating all pre-series builds in China and Germany including shipment to customer.

(Product-) project controlling
To an agreed extent and to an agreed point of time a report has to be made over partial results and forwarded to the customer/order owner; manage budget and internal project-related controlling activities; perform value added / value engineering activities
in order to
make necessary information for processes and decisions more transparent.
Escalation
To inform and integrate order owner(s) at target endangering situations,
in order to
provide for necessary clarification and decision making.
Development Technology
Adherence to defined technical standards within the scope of development, integration of pre-development and production engineering for adjustment of product concepts and technological alternatives
in order to
guarantee product safety and –quality as well as profitability.
Supplier selection
Make-or-Buy-Decisions regarding development/parts & tool suppliers together with project purchaser / team experts within the scope of the defined Sourcing Committee as well as utilization of the suppliers’ know-how within the pre-set standards; supporting technical aspects with suppliers especially for carrier
in order to
realize a proper, fast and cost-effective solution and settlement.
Project related sales activities
Elaboration and negotiation of all project-related offers, conjointly with the sales department (elaboration and adjustment of necessary contracts and warranty to customer);
- Responsible for full customer support and contact
- Directly involved in project acquisitions
- Responsible for the elaboration of quotations and change management activities
- Evaluating and controlling modifications during the project development
- Define the calculation basis for our customer in agreement with Sales Managers
Personnel management / development
Project development team related activity:
Managing the implementation of the local plant team, in cooperation with the plant manager.
Planning of internal and external capacities and cooperation in the nomination of team members under consideration of individual potentials and competences:
Definition and allocation of work packages and cooperation in gates’ scheduling using the documented courses for product development.
Cooperation in the yearly employees’ performance assessment
Customer interface
- Coordinate all activities and communication between customer & HBPO being the main contact for the program; managing customer relationships locally with customer for project related items except for commercial aspects
- Interface to the customer for deadlines, technical issues, product realization, product specifications and performance, process setup, meeting targets, PPAP, price negotiations.
- Proactively ensure ongoing, current and future customer satisfaction.
- Manage all change management activities between customer & HBPO.
Cooperation in further development and optimization as well as implementation of new technologies

in order to

support the technological position of HBPO on the market.
Knowledge to be enhanced
- product experiences of automotive modular assemblies with complex datum locator GD&T issues
- Practice of JIT and/or sequenced and/or in-sequence deliveries
- Experience with customer project management systems and CAD data exchange
- Adaptability to change, perseverance to reach goals, attention to details whenever required, and team leadership to meet or exceed deliverables
Supporting plant implementation processes

Environmental-Management-System
Supporting operative implementation of the Environmental-Management-
System accordant to the requirements of DIN EN ISO 14001 based on the
HBPO-M-System in the plant (e.g. EM - Target-agreeing and –tracking) in order
to ensure the national & international competitiveness on long-term, as well as
to fulfil the statutory regulations
