? To manage and lead the software team
? To ensure the product development and maintenance during product life cycle are carried out in accordance of Elekta QMS and in a timely manner

?To ensure that staff of software team have the right competence to fulfill their roles as defined in their job descriptions and to help with their career development
? The provision of tools and processes supportive of the overall product development process and for the continued improvement of their effectiveness
? Management of software tools and continuous improvement on product development life cycle times
? To deploy safety, reliability and regulatory knowledge and practices as defined in the processes in Elekta Business Management System to ensure products are safe, reliable and compliant
?To ensure the staff have adequate product knowledge and are fully aware of the application of the products
? To foster an environment that promotes his/her staff to work effectively in cross-functional teams and to produce innovative design solutions
? To monitor and ensure compliance of health and safety regulations
? Ensure product design and development are managed within the principles defined in Elekta quality management system
? To work with other R&D managers and other staff to achieve the company’s objectives
? Functional leadership of the team, including budget, recruitment, resource assignment and prioritization, annual reviews of staff, etc.

? Financial approval of Travel, Expenses and Material Spend as per the published Authorization limits and subject to budgetary constraints.

? Master degree or above in engineering
? 10 years working in software engineering or a similar R&D environment, 5 years’ experience in a management position
? Experience with engineering design and change processes.
? Preferable to have experience of working with in the SAFe Framework
? Proven leadership in organization, communication, influence and collaboration in a global environment
? Demonstrated track record of initiative, independence, and accountability.
? Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems and contribute quickly.
? Experience in a regulated medical device environment, knowledge of medical terminology and the regulatory framework, e.g. CFDA , FDA, MDD, IEC, ISO, etc.
? Fluent in English.
