Analytics can materially enhance the quality, efficiency and insight of an audit; Deloitte’s vision is for analytics to be used on all audits. The Deloitte Analytics Centre is to support Audit staff and engagement teams with data extraction, formatting and uploading it into the Analytics Solution. The main activities of the team will include:
? Being the engagement team’s first point of call when using the Analytics Solution for troubleshooting or general functionality queries; providing them with assistance and guidance in the use of our bespoke Analytics Solution.
? Provide in-country support for data acquisition and extraction from clients’ accounting systems.
? Carry out the manipulation and upload of the more complex data sets from a variety of finance systems across various business areas and clients into an in-house built system.
? Having a high level understanding of the system being supported and use Microsoft SQL to troubleshoot any issues raised by the Audit practice.
Description:
? Management of the manipulation and technical support team (expected initially to consist of 20 staff), ensuring the support team is staffed appropriately based on the peaks and troughs of demand per Audit busy seasons.
? Monitor performance of the centre against budget and ensure high quality output within an appropriate time frame.
? Analyse demand and work with leadership to ensure the recruitment policy meets requirements.
? Take responsibility for cash collection and financial control of the centre.
? Ensure the manipulation and technical support team meet the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) to the Audit practice.
? Monitor SLAs and provide reporting packs to the Audit practice and Act as escalation point for work not meeting agreed SLAs.
? Contact Audit teams on a regular basis to ensure they are on track with the workflow and update the demand management system.
? Management of the maintenance of the knowledge management scripts and tools for troubleshooting.

Qualification:
Responsibility:
? One year’s prior experience managing a support function;
? An operational focus, with the ability to also think strategically
? Ability to manage a fast paced and demand driven workflow
? Experience in working with and reporting to Senior Management
? A strong working knowledge of Excel (including formulae such as SUM, COUNT, IF, VLOOKUP, ISERROR)
? A strong working knowledge of SQL and XXX software
? Understanding of basic accounting principles
? Experience in a demanding, fast paced, customer facing environment
? Good communication skills both verbal and written
? Strong interpersonal skills and the ability manage a team
