Title: Retail Manager for NC

1. Aim of the specific position:

Supporting the development of new strategic retail channel in China, coordinating all the necessary activities in order to achieve the sales and margins. This will be done within the defined Group strategies and respecting the image and the quality of service of the brand.

3. Specific context of reference:

As Retail Sales Manager China, the jobholder is responsible for the day-to-day running of stores and among their key accountabilities is developing profitable performance by motivating staff.
At the same times a contribution to the research of new stores opportunities with adequate analysis is requested

The Retail Sales Manager in this position receives input regarding store merchandise and layout and the same times he or she has to adapt to the each specific store.

Have decision-making responsibilities concerning everyday trading issues and is required to assist with the opening new stores.

Main activities and Duties主要职责:
The Retail Sales Manager has a daily task of supervising or overseeing retail stores or outlets. Their concern is mainly focused on the management of sales, stock, employees or staff as well as resources.

? Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency;

? Analyzing sales figures and Retail KPIs and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits, as well as implementing in autonomy or recommended corrective actions;

? Analyzing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning;

? Dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development;

Store Expansion

? Support the brand development in China (East, West, North & other areas of China), identifying new interesting location and collecting the main information such as competitors, brand level, traffic flow, customer etc.
支持中国区品牌发展(包括华东、中西部、北部以及其它中国区域),定位有潜力的新店位置,并收集如竞争对手、选址、品牌定位、客流、客群等主要信息。
? Visit new locations, support the decision on new locations and help to negotiate directly with Landlords and/or Agents and Management Companies
考察新位置,对新店位置决策提供支持,协助直接与业主、中介及管理公司直接谈判。

Business Management & analysis商业管理和分析

? Identify Retail KPI’s and manage regular reporting (Sales analysis by shop, by product category, lost sales , best sellers , productivity per sales staff and sq.mt, inventory turn ) recommending corrective actions when appropriate

? Works with Trade Marketing to propose and coordinate special consumer promotions; assures the proper use of sales support material, visual merchandising according to area and corporate guidelines.
