SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION:
? The Test Engineer develops Verification and Validation (V&V) test plans for AC servo drives and motors. Responsibilities include authoring of test plans, coordination of internal and external testing resources, and execution of test plans.
? Assists with technical support of motion customers in China.
? Testing of competitive products.
? Develops the test plan for validating the product features prior to release for component motion project.
? Coordinates with partner and RA test resources to insure proper V&V coverage.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
? Minimum of 3 years experience in V&V testing experience of servo products.
? Prior experience working with a team on new product development.
? Must be able to clearly document and communicate test plans. Proven use of testing tools and methodologies.
? Must exhibit good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
? Must be self-motivated, capable of performing and making good engineering decisions in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
? Experience working as part of a self-directed team is a necessity. Must be able to handle multiple assignments while meeting planned completion dates with minimal supervision.
