About the role
As the Finance Control Manager, you will be responsible for the accounting and reporting services to support the Senior Finance Manager. You will also ensure the provision of accurate and timely financial information to the Finance team and ensure that all statutory and regulatory reporting obligations are met. Obligations will include month-end financial reporting delivery requirements, registers, schedules, reconciliations, and trial balance. In this role, you will also develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders (including Heads of Finance and Business Partners) and ensure the effective exchange of information to support financial control activities. You will drive monthly financial result discussions with key stakeholders and also ensure that auditor requests and queries are responded to on a timely basis. You will oversee the quality and accuracy of Financial Statements and audit work papers, including accurate and timely assembly of supporting documentation. About you
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following –

? At least 5 years of professional experience in Finance role or over 5 years audit firm experience;
? Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification;
? Good communication skill in English/Mandarin, both verbal and written;
? Demonstrated experience with financial control, statutory and regulatory accounting within a banking environment;
? Familiarity with local and international accounting standards;
? Excellent excel skill;
? Hard working, problem solving, strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence, with experience working with off-shore sites;
? Strong analytical skills;
? Years of Big 4 experience is preferred and have banking industry knowledge is an advantage;
