Job Title Hardware Wireless Connectivity application engineer(Wifi/BT/FM) ,staff/Sr engineer
Job Area Engineering – hardware
Job Function:
-Support Qualcomm Wireless connectivity products from design into mass production phase, play consultant/expert role to guide customer design and troubleshooting, help or work with customer on wireless connectivity chipset debug
-Provide wireless connectivity training and workshop to customers
-work with team and RD for key issue tracking and dig-out solution
-Domestic/international travel is required.
Skills/Experience
- Strong experience in ASM/C/C++ programming.
- Strong embedded software debugging skills on real time operating systems.
- Good knowledge on digital communication system including GSM,CDMA2000, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA or LTE, WIFI is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of RF and analog circuits is highly preferred
- Familiar with usage of wireless test box such as CMW500 or Anritsu 8820/8821/8860C, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, Oscilloscope etc, is highly preferred
- Experience of RF calibration tool development is a plus
- Basic understanding of hardware/firmware interaction, Experienced in firmware development is highly preferred
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, high motivation
- The ability to learn quickly, and must be a self-starter
