General Overview:
The Trade Marketing Manager – Modern trade and E-Commerce will lead the development and execution of trade strategies and customer programs and optimize promotional spending. He / She will work with brand marketing and sales teams to achieve sales and profits results.

Responsibilities:
- The new hire should become the Channel/Customer marketing expert in the modern trade channels including Hyper, Super and CVS, etc.
Channel fundamentals:
?Understand channel/customer priorities and operating rhythms and define optimal assortment, display, pricing and merchandising standards per channel (customer) to maximize in-store visibility
?Provide guidance for channel merchandiser to execute daily
?Build compelling channel/account-specific selling stories under “perfect store” concept
?Support channel merchandising tools production and delivery to stores

- Channel Activation development and execution:
?Lead development process & execution of in-store campaigns at retail
?Recommend promotion strategies (BTS) per channel, including occasions, promotional assortment, mechanisms, displays, in-store events and POP.
?Allocate sales and marketing spending per channel to meet share and sales targets.
?Lead the development and production of promotional displays and POP across channels, consistently with brand ID & advertising campaign creative.
?Define promotional metrics and report on performance. Collaborate with TM, sales, and brand peers to share and apply best practices.
?Top key accounts marketing activities development and deployment

- E-Commerce activity development support
?Promotional items selection collaborated with EC sales team
?Promotional mechanisms recommendation on occasion, communication, etc.
?Support the cross functions collaboration EC related

- Monitor and track execution quality performance, drive spending efficiency
?Manage and optimize marketing and sales spending directed at the Modern Trade channel.
?Track and report on POS trend, market share, store coverage, in-store execution as well as assortment and promotion performance.
?Gathers competitive and marketplace intelligence and share with the organization

Requirements:
?University or four-year college
?Ideally has experience in working with sales teams and modern trade, Ecommerce experience preferable
?Has a track record of building multi-channel promotions, with good understanding of P&L management.
?Has worked in a multi-cultural environment/for international company before.
?5-year above experience with a CPG or durable company in trade management, channel management, customer marketing or sales
?Strong collaborating skills across a variety of functions.
?Good oral and written communication skills in English; Excellent oral and written communication skills in Mandarin.
?<20% travel, mostly in China
