NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
1. Sales and Brand Management
? Responsible for driving sales of Company’s outlets in China and report on performance to Senior Retail Operations Manager, China.
? Establish and implement action plans to achieve/exceed area sales goals and KPI’s in co-operation with the Senior Retail Operations Manager, China
? Possess strong analytical skills and execute performance management for the Area
? Negotiate with landlords to get prominent space for Jimmy Choo with extensive network with outlet operators.
? Work with Store Managers to achieve sales budgets and the defined sales forecasts via monthly business reviews
? Identify market trends and factors contributing to or detracting from sales and propose actions
? Partner with Retail Operations Department and the corporate team to work on merchandises, VM and CRM opportunities on a regular basis.
? Ensure stores environment are consistently compelling through brand presentation. Invest in team and self to ensure a true passion and respect for the brand is constant
? Deliver impeccable customer service and training associates to be highly consumer focused in fostering luxurious shopping experience
2. Retail Operations Management
? Maintain operational standards, and ensuring company policies and practices are followed in the store
? Regularly visit all stores to assess company and competitor performance as well as market development
? Foster an environment in each store where service excellence is the top priority through training, coaching, modelling appropriate selling behaviours and personal involvement
? Inventory review in each store on a monthly basis to ensure sufficient stock is available to support the sales while inventory compliance is adhered to the standard of operations
? Monitor all aspects of store operations including payroll, billing, daily reconciliation reports, bank statement and sales reports submitted by Store-in-charge
? Work with Store Managers to monitor staff roster and manpower planning
? Execute new store opening and store enhancement project
3. People Management
? Acquire, retain and develop potential talents. Responsible for the network recruitment of service-oriented and passionate sales associates
? Assess strengths and opportunities of the team. Encourage and build appropriate staff development plan and communicate to Senior Retail Operations Manager on staff suggestions and needs; encourage exchange of ideas
? Work with HR Department and Retail Trainer to develop training programme for all new employees and implement a yearly training plan for all frontline employees
? Act as a bridge between Corporate Office and Retail colleagues
? Coordinate with HR department in regards to personnel issues of retail staff

QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION
? Territory educated
? Highly competent user of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
? Proven track record in retail operations management to manage outlet stores
? Have had experience working within the Luxury Retail Sector

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
? At least 8 years solid experience within 3 years in similar position

? A good head for figures is essential
? Be discreet and able to work with highly confidential information
? Be able to work to deadlines (sometimes tight) and understand the importance of adhering to them and the ability to prioritise work accordingly
? Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build credible relationships with all employees. This requires effective communication skills both verbal and written
? Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team – a real team player and a passion and pride in what they do
