Position: QA Purchasing Electric/NEV

Division/Department: Quality Assurance

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

? Quality evaluation and qualification of suppliers according to agreements with production locations in China

? Steering and monitoring of relevant activities and processes within QA Purchasing of all locations in China.

? Assignment in plants and at suppliers/sub—suppliers for production ramp-up-/series support.

? Internal and external coordination regarding manufacturing processes and methods with consideration of due dates, number of parts for planning and manufacturing qualities.

? Accompanying and steering of tool production on site at suppliers, tool makers and machine manufacturers.

? The function is also targeted at issue solving for new projects and demand-oriented special activities and is carried out in alignment with other divisions.

Your Responsibilities:

? Conduction of quality evaluation and qualification of suppliers for production of component parts in the Chinese market under consideration of effective quality regulations within Volkswagen Group

? Steering and ensuring of defined tasks and measures for qualification of respective suppliers/sub-suppliers in alignment with the Group QA divisions.

? Proposal, alignment and representation of feasibility statements for producibility and recommendation for technical feasibility

? Proposal/arrangement and tracking of measures for preventing or eleminating of customer claims and market affecting failures of purchased parts in alignment with the Chinese production plants and other divisions of VW AG.

? Self-dependent monitoring of timely finalization of tools and equipment for new part production.

? Self-dependent monitoring and bring forward of sampling activities for critical parts related to due date requirements for PVS, 0S and SOP.

? Alignment of required part corrections during PVS, 0S and SOP.

? Implementation of change measures of component parts and tools under consideration of quality, due date and costs

? Technical consulting of Purchasing, Logistics and Production divisions for time critical parts, if necessary preparation and proposal of special measures.

? Representation of decisions at suppliers regarding priorities, due dates and manufacturing levels in alignment with all related divisions.

? Development and representation of plans for tool optimization at suppliers for sustainable quality improvement and cost reduction.

? Steering, conduction and monitoring of special measures (tool relocation, scrap activities etc.)

? Accompanying of sampling activities (Bemusterung) and support for 2 day productions (2TP)

? Mediation in case of differences between supplier and VW division.

? Permanent reporting to divisions QA and Purchasing regarding conducted activities and measures.

? Conduction of QPN Integral and QTR.

? Alignment and coordination of projects.

? Conduction of special measures for which the position holder is particularly suitable due to his qualification

? Cross-functional coordination for over-arching international expert meetings including VW AG, Joint Ventures and VCIC (“Forum Expertenwissen / Forum Expert Knowledge”)

Our Requirements:

? Graduate Degree in Engineering

? Analytical, team-work minded, coordinative, willing to communicate, persuasiveness

? Min. 5 years professional experience within QA in automotive area

? Knowledge of VW processes (PEP, CSC, Formel Q)

? Special knowledge and process know-how according to area of expertise (Powertrain, Electrics, Interieur, Exterieur, Metal, Methods) for covering the entire spectrum of component parts within the “Fachgruppen”

? Fluent in English/German
