City GM Candidate
The Ideal Candidate:
1. People leadership: Ability to build a team and deliver results across 4 main areas – Supply, Transformation, Operations, and Distribution
2. Business development: Supply is the most important lever for growth - ability to build relationships with hotel owners to sign contracts and establish company biz in the market; Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, solid networking to establish company in the hotel owner community
3. Business understanding and Overall responsibility for P&L: past roles where candidate has displayed clear understanding of levers of business on revenue and cost side
4. First principle problem solving: Several solutions - processes and technology both and maybe even elements of business model - will need customization to build company in the local market. Think globally, act locally - keen understanding of problems of hotel owners and of customers and subsequent problem solving across supply, operations, brand, transformation, etc. will be critical
5. Planning, reporting and stakeholder management: Ability to plan using guidelines from central team and build the right reporting metrics / visibility to enable quick decision making for moving business forward; Comfort with operating alone with little day to day supervision
6. Hunger to outperform, coupled with 'hands on' attitude: Fearless ambition, a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude, with an inner fire to build something big and change the hospitality space through this role
7. High energy, quick execution: Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment; motivate and lead the team to do the same
Past background (our guidance only) for successful candidates:
● Prior Business Development and people leadership experience
● Prior start up experience
● Strong academic credentials in: Marketing, Business Administration, Management or other relevant majors
● Native from China or have spent at least 5 years in the city
● Fluency in English

What will the role be
● Responsible of P & L for the geography.
● Drive the offline channels and close liaising with the online team to ensure meeting of the URN targets
● Responsible for managing Operations (quality of service & escalations) in the marketplace and ensuring high quality of customer experience
● Building Sustainable demand channels from a long term perspective
● Responsible for meeting the supply targets and identifying new supply avenues
● Build a highly engaged and energetic team strive for success
● Creating new processes to improve operational efficiencies
