Position: Technical Competence Management

Division/Department: HR, Orga. & ITP

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

This position focuses on Competence Management in China, with a strong focus to create and develop strategies, work out concepts and prepare the implementation within different projects in a close cooperation with all Volkswagen Group entities in China. The major objective of this position is to transfer the HR Strategy of the Group in terms of Competence Management to all Volkswagen entities and build up a strong network of cooperation with all HR departments in different locations and companies. A significant part of the tasks will be “greenfield work”, which means that new structures have to be generated, concepts have to be developed, created and in coordination with the Headquarter functions to be agreed as a standard for Volkswagen Group China. The special expertise focus for this position lies in the area of rolling out the competence management approach existing and newly implemented professional academies to all divisions of VCIC. Furthermore, the implementation of a strategic competence management process with 3-5 year planning horizon is a key task of the position holder.

Your Responsibilities:

? Implementation and operations of competence management within professional families of Volkswagen Group China

? Description of standardized competencies and competence profiles under an functional expertise aspect

? Elevation of the qualification and development demands on basis of the competence profiles

? Determination and selection of tailored formats for the qualification within the professional families

? Close cooperation with Volkswagen Group Academy and Audi Academy

? Close cooperation with IT departments and education and training partner

? Steering and monitoring of the whole competency management in China

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

Master, Diploma or Magister Degree in one of the HR related fields with a strong major to working and organization psychology or educational science or social science with a special focus on HR, Organization as well as a good technical expertise.

Personal skills:

Very high degree of personal integrity and adherence to confidentiality. Ability to design, generate and develop new concepts. A self confident communication as well as a perfect business understanding and business behaviour. Intelligent by dealing with special joint venture situation, groundly positive and cooperative. Experience in the automobile processes as well as production line know-how. Should be able to transfer company processes into learning processes. Flexibility and mobility are required.

Working experience (in years):

5-10 years of experience in HR Development, HR Strategy and HR Processes especially in competence management. Preferred is the knowledge of Group Standards within the HR, a strong network to the HQ functions as well as an intercultural background with a fluent English and German as well as an affinity to the Chinese Language and Culture.

Fluent English and German are mandatory requested.
