The CHOZN sales serves as the primary technical resource for generating opportunities and sales for Merck’s CHOZN product portfolio (cell line for commercial biotech). And this position is responsible for assuring acceleration (speed) and enhancement (value-add) of the sales cycle to facilitate and drive sales growth within the CHOZN product portfolio.
In addition, the CHOZEN sales is also responsible to identify the Chinese market trend and sales strategy plan with regional sales.
Responsibilities:
? Meets or exceeds sales targets with professional knowledge and understanding of customer application.
? Partner with regional sales to develop technology focused strategies for regions/territories/key accounts.
? Responsible for analyzing market share and industry dynamics to maintain a strong understanding of industry drivers and trends. .
? Establishes and maintains influential relationships at all levels. Actively identify & develop high level relationships with our customers who have decision-making. Partner with Sales Senior Leadership to manage resources and time appropriately across the region/territory.
? Ensure successful closure of sales as well as services and solution selling
? Champion long term project planning activities through the leveraging of Millipore resources at strategic times during the project cycle.
? Responsibility for key projects that are aligned with Merck's business goals.
? Build exceptional relationships with internal resource. Make effectively communication with global supporting members.
Qualifications:
? The ideal candidate must be highly motivated and self-directed
? Strong communication (verbal/written), interpersonal, and organization skills.
? Solid understanding about cell line/ cell cultivation/ cell media.
? Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to leverage decisions at a high level.
? Excellent presentation skills.
? Minimum Bachelor Degree in pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, chemistry, biochemistry.
? At least 3 years sales experience or working experience in bio-pharmaceutical or related industries.
