SG China, head quarter based in Beijing, presents in 7 cities in China including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Tianjin, Harbin and Hangzhou. Its IT department, consist of 3 sub-teams GTS, PRD and DPR, is responsible for all local IT infrastructure/application maintenance and evolution to support different business lines in China including Wealth Management, Cash Management, Trade Finance and Global Mark business.
The position is based in Shanghai as local IT support for Infrastructure (basic) and desktop end-user support. As a result, the successful candidate is expected to have good understanding of IT infrastructure and experience in desktop related technologies
Job Responsibilities
? Responsible for the 1st and 2nd line support Shanghai office, installation and maintenance of IT systems within the departments.
? Co-ordinate different parties internal/external to make sure agreed IT service level delivered and good customer relationship maintained
? Manage relationships with vendors for outsourced or third-party systems for Shanghai branch
? Involved in day-to-day user support and project work relating to the introduction/maintenance of IT systems.
? Manage the server room and Hub room for Shanghai branch
? To solve or escalate the IT related problems and follow them through until their conclusion.
? These could range from urgent calls requiring immediate attention to requests for maintenance on hardware or information relating to the introduction of new systems.
? Provide innovative solutions for enhanced user experience
? Leading and managing local IT projects for SG China Shanghai branch
? Propose improvements to Infrastructure services
? Assist Infrastructure skill teams (Network, Server, Storage, Audio/Video) for some basic maintenance/coordination tasks
Job requirements
? Bachelor Degree or above, Computer Science Major Preferred.
?
? Experience in IT Support function
? Detailed understanding of TCP/IP inter-networking fundamentals, Microsoft 7/10 workstation/server/infrastructure
? In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft products with a focus on Outlook.
? Hands-on knowledge on Active Directory, DNS/WIN/DHCP, file/print services, ACL, registry modification, policy configuration, VB scripting, SCCM package delivery and use of other desktop troubleshooting commands/tools would be essential
? Basic understanding of the IT infrastructure technologies (Server, Storage, Network, Middleware)
? Knowledge and experience in investment banking or retail banking is desired
? Strong analytical and synthetic skills
? Ability to work with remote sites
? Good communication skills & strong motivation
? ITIL certification is a plus
? Be able to provide 2nd level on call support for critical banking process during the night
