Position: Micro Service Designer

Division/Department: ITP Region China

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

? To develop, implement, maintain and operate Microservices within Volkswagens One Digital Platform (ODP) based on Technologies like Java,C, etc..

? Ensure Readiness of the ODP to provide Business Services to Platform users.

? Design and Run Data Fusion services within ODP.

? Manage requirements and Lifecycle for Business services implemented as Micro services

? Support in the Provision of data to the user parties of the ODP and support the implementation of APIs.

? Lead in the topic of technical micro service implementation for new business use cases and services.

Your Responsibilities:

? Build up and maintain a micro service stack.

? Maintain micro services portfolio and build up improvement plan.

? Create a micro services Handbook, IT documentation and operations plan

? Define roles and responsibilities of every involved party for each project.

? Arrange project meetings

? Review and validate required documents

? Regular project status reports

Our Requirements:

? Bachelors degree in IT, Business or a related field

? 5+ years in the IT industry, with specific expertise around java development, C development and implementation and management of microservices.

? Has Development or Cloud operations relevant certification or similar experience in a delivery or micro service design role

? Proven track record of being results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals

? Strong verbal and written communication skills
