REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
? Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline: Science, Business or Nursing
? Minimum of 3 years in a Hospital sales role, specialty product experience a plus
? Demonstrated sales ability and influencing skills
? Demonstrated Key Account Management, sales, and persuasive skills ability
? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
? Proven success in building and maintaining strong professional relationships
5. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Primary Goal
? To generate sales through the implementation and execution of the regional sales, marketing
plan
? Identify, develop and partner with key prescribers & influencers in the therapeutic area
? Create customer value through the implementation of brand, KAM and corporate strategies, and
ensure that organizational resources are utilized to maximize return on investment.
Sales Implementation
? Achieve sales target in accordance with the regional sales plan
? Promote product in accordance with marketing strategies
? Liaise with the Medical/Marketing when appropriate
? Coordinate territory promotional activity
Sales Administration
? Maintain accurate customer contact records / information timely, enter customer contact
information at the earliest convenience and where practicable
? Complete all reporting requirements as directed by Regional Business Manager
? Complete expenses each month
Territory Management
? Define and prioritize work duties & goals according to regional sales plan
? Manage all elements relating to planning and delivery of promotional activities in line with
regional sales plan
? Maintain thorough and accurate records on current and potential customer activity, including
identification of barriers to prescribing
Product and Industry Knowledge
? Maintain a current and comprehensive knowledge of disease state, Actelion product(s) and
competitors through individual’s study of available materials and consultation with appropriate
Actelion experts
? Communication & Information sharing among team members Communicate relevant
competitive information to Sales, Marketing and Medical Team
? Share relevant information internally and with appropriate customers
