职位描述：
Job Title: QE Engineer (品质工程师-工业激光行业）
Location: Shanghai（Qingpu District）
Salary Range：Negotiable
 
Interprets drawings and diagrams to ensure products meet quality standards. Interacts regularly with engineering, manufacturing and customers to maintain and establish quality standards for raw material, work in process and finished products and visit vendors to for vendor qualifications.
 
Duties:
1) Develops, initiate standards and method for inspection, testing and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering for incoming and in-process quality.
2) Determination and documentation of incoming test and inspection plans, including sampling plans and Dock-to-Stock/Ship-to-Stock activities.
3) Visit vendors site for vendors qualifications.
4) Design, implement and manage Quality Metrics.
5) Lead, review and approve the first article inspection reports
6) Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
7) Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
8) Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
9) Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
10) Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
11) Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
12) Work with supply chain to identify and qualify a potential supplier, improve delivery performance and quality of vendor supplied material.
13) Moderate lifting
14) Travel requirement: 50%
 
Qualifications:
1) Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
2) 3 to 4 years of related experience
3) Proficient in statistical analysis using Excel and QC Metrics.
4) Lean 6-Sigma Green Belt a plus.
5) Knowledge of automated and mechanical measurement equipment and software, dimensional layout and First Article Inspection.
6) Knowledge of CMM equipment operation and Data analysis using Excel
7) Strong communication skills with both internal and external customers.
