Dynamics AX System Analyst

JOB PURPOSE: Serves as the internal consultant and system administrator for MAK business ERP Systems (Subsystem to Cat Systems, GLS & SAP/CBS). Leads the process optimization, system implementation and corresponding training for Mak Asia Pacific region. Provides capacity for services and parts invoice billing and handling order processing as the need arises.

JOB DUTIES: Incumbent assists and reports to the Financial Controller in day-to-day running of business Unit.
？
The incumbent will lead the business process optimization and defining for the product support business, the affiliated Prime Sales side on CRM/PM processes, and new area of businesses.
？
He or she will work as an internal consultant in the system upgrading, customization, and new module implementation phases. The position is also required to transfer knowledge and become enabler of peers’ capabilities via continuous training and troubleshooting.

The incumbent will work as system administrator as well to management and maintain ERP system including hardware and software. He or she will work as internal helpdesk for daily operation of the system and first-aid for troubleshooting and problem clarification. Meanwhile, he or she will also be communication portal with outside professional service provider for anything related to internal ERP system.

And the position can handle all aspects of the MAK dealership day-to-day transactions – parts order processing, supplier and vendor invoices and accounts receivable. As the MAK System (Dynamics) runs as a sub system in Caterpillar, the incumbent will monitor and control the accuracy of data entries so that extraction to main systems is clean and orderly together with creating additional reports/analysis on basis of Dynamics database and reporting system. The incumbent need monitor/file the customization document of Dynamics and provide efficient training to other system users on request.

The position will directly control and supervise colleagues in generating PO for services with third party and sending order acknowledge/order confirmation to the respective customers; Updating supplier/vendor invoices and processes service billing. He or she will also maintain and monitor inventory records in able to provide the fiscal year end audit. The incumbent may need to act as a coach of the parts operations team especially for the Service related operations.

The position administrates the day-to-day functioning of the business Units financial needs, monitors, ensures proper handling, and booking of GL/AR/AP entries by various users; Identifies, corrects, and clarifies entries made by various users; as well as prepares and submits monthly closing document for APSS closing.

The position is a specialist within the group and provides interpretation and problem solving advice to others inside and outside of the department.

Typical internal customers include various contacts in Singapore, India, Shanghai China, and Tianjin China, and Dubai UAE. The position's primary customers are internal. Less than half of the problems faced by the position are similar to those faced before and follow a pattern.However, more than half of efforts need allocated to the brand-new requirement, problem solving, and coordination among different departments and legal entities. The incumbent resolves issues by selecting the best solution from a few choices or initiate solution via internal/external investigation and analysis. Impacts key quality goals including Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Accuracy, Efficiency, Cost Savings, Process Quality The position monitors adherence to quality standards and develops action plans for addressing below standard performance.


BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

The position requires exposure to accounting or financial accounting practices.
？
Personal computer skills and familiarity with various software packages is required(Microsoft Dynamics [highly required], SQL analyzer, office series, programming software, project management software).

Fluent English speaking and writing is needed.
？
The position typically requires bachelor degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, and/or Finance with special IT skills.
？
In addition, three to five years of job-related experience are typically required.
