General Description
The Event Sales Specialist (ESS) is responsible for the success of “Arkadin Event Business” and so actively contributes in Arkadin growth in a given Country. To be successful the “ESS” must:
Ø Directly hunt & sign new business within a list of large enterprises that include pure prospects, existing Arkadin customers for services other than “Virtual Events” and strategic prospects within key industries (such as Pharmaceutical/Healthcare, Banking/Finance, IT…)
Ø Offer expertise and pre-sales support to generalists in the Sales team and ensure a high win-rate of “Virtual Event” opportunities detected by generalists in the sales team
Ø Have a consultative and solution Sales approach (and not product/features approach) to “virtual Events end users” such as: Head of Internal/Corporate Communication, Marketing Directors, HR & Training Managers, Investors Relation Officers
KEY RESULTS AREAS
Ø Achieve assigned sales quota in “new business” (new customers signed) and upsell in existing large enterprise Clients in collaboration with generalists in the Sales Team
Ø Create strong relationships with large & strategic prospects leading to contract signature
Ø Position Arkadin as a “Virtual Events” leader by highlighting our unique value proposition to different functions (Marketing, Internal Communication, Corporate Communications, HR etc) and industries
Ø Raise the effectiveness of the generalists in the Sales Team in identifying, qualifying and closing “Virtual Events” opportunities.
KEY TASKS
Ø Researching key large enterprise and strategic prospect targets to identify key decision makers therein
Ø Prospecting on a daily/weekly basis to senior/ C-Level decision makers to develop new business within large enterprise segment
Ø Ensure individual Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are met and/or exceeded based on input into and reporting from Arkadin’s CRM system. These includes sales activity (number of calls and meetings), new leads and opportunities generated and, ultimately, hitting the revenue target assigned.
Ø Ensure Sales Team KPIs for ‘Virtual Event’ sales are met and/or exceeded based on input into and reporting from Arkadin’s CRM system. This will also include KPIs to ensure there are regular and ongoing campaigns and initiatives aimed at driving sales of ‘virtual events’ across the wider sales Team.
Ø Regular forecasting of ‘virtual events’ revenue to Management
Ø Manage the entire sales cycle
Ø Be an expert in Arkadin’s Virtual Events products/solutions (Audio Event, suite of WebEvents, Webcasting...), policies Manage full RFP process and procedures
Ø Perform other assigned tasks as requested

Ø Fluent in English you can work with your colleagues/Managers overseas

Ø Proven expertise in consultative selling and closing with a strong track record in new business
Ø Be able to communicate effectively and accurately via telephone, email and business media– clearly articulating Arkadins’ value proposition
Ø Understand our offering and have demonstrable knowledge and track record of success within the virtual events, webcasting and/or online media sectors and/or communication/ marketing/ digital industries
Ø Have excellent relationship-building skills and experience in customer liaison and management
Ø Excellent internal communications skills and effective communicator
Ø Strong interpersonal skills: negotiating, influencing, and dealing effectively with people.

Ø Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ø 3 to 6 years’ experience in B2B sales
