British Airways, one of the world’s leading international airlines, is looking for dynamic sales professional to join our World Cargo Sales Team in Shanghai. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with proven telephone sales experience and operational customer service in the Airline or Freight Forwarding industry to drive revenue and develop business in the Cargo market in China. This is an exciting and challenging role with an opportunity to work within a dedicated team

Job Purpose
-To maximising cargo space utilization through telephone sales, new business and clawback, whilst delivering a high level of premium customer service in order to contribute to and exceed station targets
-Ensure complete adherence to all prescribed operational, health & safety and security standard.

Skills & Experience required:
-Excellent spoken and written English & Mandarin essential
-Minimum 2 years work experience since graduation
-2 years operational customer service experience in the Airline or Freight Forwarding industry is highly desirable
-Telesales experience highly desirable
-Customer orientation and target driven
-Proven use of Commercial acumen
-Ability to extract data from a variety of sources
-Ability to work in a multi tasking environment
-Strong PC skills
-Strong ability to negotiate and influence
-Excellent numerical and analytical competence
-Target focused and action orientated
-Highly self motivated and driven, and ability to work independently
-University Educated
