THE POSITION: Accountant

POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for the general accounting function including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the accounting manager in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Supervise AP and handle GL and daily bookkeeping
？ Supervise and verify the payment to vendors, related parties and employees
？ Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences
？ Manage part-time resource for fapiao verification
？ Make journal entries in SAP
2. Monthly/Year end Closing
？ Prepare monthly journal entries and maintains the required supporting working paper
？ Monthly Bank reconciliation
？ Ensure complete and accurate posting of balances from SAP sub-ledgers(AR, AP, Inter-company and inventories, etc.)
？ Prepare and tracking month/year end accruals, including vendor and T&E accruals
？ Perform monthly and quarterly tax transactions and fillings
3. Reporting and Analysis
？ Assist in the preparation of expense report by cost center
？ Prepare working paper with BS account analysis and financial statement information
？ Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports
？ Develop special and Ad-hoc reports
4. Audit and internal control related tasks
？ Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process.
？ Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
ABILITIES
? Good customer service attitude and team spirit
? Excellent in Chinese GAAP and China tax law, knowledge of IFRS GAAP
? Self-motivated, and problem-solving
? Attention to details and accuracy
? Scheduling and monitoring
? Good communication skills

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting
- At least 4 years working experience in foreign companies
- SAP related experience is preferred.
- Tax experience is preferred.
- Good command of English
- Willing to learn
