SMT Customer Escalation Engineer
Location: Shanghai
Position Summary:
？This position is part of Supplier Materials & Technology (SMT) organization, that is dedicated to the development, management, alignment & continuous improvement of supplier technology and processes to optimize product quality, delivery, and total cost.
？The candidate will be working across organizational functional groups in resolving technical, quality and production challenges (escalations) with suppliers. And, play a vital role in the development (QMS) and continuous improvement of suppliers. and SMT supplier engineers.
Primary Responsibilities:
？Drive resolution on critical quality escalations (supplier related) through systematic problem solving methodology (8D or Lam PSDMP).
？Define, review and improve Supplier’s Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA); and communicate effectively to field account teams/customers.
？Drive improvement of Supplier’s Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Processes of Record (POR) to ensure product quality and supply continuity.
？Act as technical lead for cross functional projects within the supply chain.
？Liaison with field account teams/customers and SMT supplier engineers.
Education & Qualifications:
？Engineering Degree or equivalent (Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical/Material Science Engineering).
？Excellent communication (verbal & written in English), presentation, and organizational skills.
？Proven track record in managing quality escalations & projects.
？Exhibit attention to details, sense of urgency and ability to multiple tasks in fast paced environment.
？Ability to work with cross-functional teams across multiple departments to achieve goals.
？Ability to travel internationally - 20% travel time could be required.
？> 5 years work experience in quality management and semiconductor equipment.
