INTERNSHIP

Start date: ASAP
Location: Beijing, China
Length: Minimum of 3 months commitment required; 30 hours per week
Position: Paid internship

Drinking Buddies is a craft beer club and distributor, importing unique beers from microbreweries around the world. All the beers we import are not available anywhere else in China.

We’re looking for an eager intern to help with a variety of day-to-day office tasks core to the business, which will give you insight into running a business, knowledge of the craft beer market, and a chance to grow and learn. This is a paid position.

We are a startup, so you must be willing to get your hands dirty, keen to offer ideas, and able to be a self-starter irrespective of your area of focus. We are looking for applicants who are not just excited by their role, but excited about joining a young company early on and shaping your role and the company from the start.

General Responsibilities
? Translations across all marketing and sales materials
? Occasional social media management and content creation; including WeChat and Weibo
? Sales support

Experience/Requirements
? A passion for craft beer, and a willingness to learn more!
? Ability to take initiative, entrepreneurial and work with a limited amount of direction; ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish mutual goals
? Flexible and remote working hours based on your school schedule can be discussed; minimum commitment of 30 hours per week required
? Fluent English and Chinese is required for translation work; includes reading, writing and speaking – you may be asked to do a small translation
? Excellent attention to detail, organized
? Strong communication skills and a very friendly, charismatic personality
? Ability to lift a carton of beer (24 bottles)
? Candidate will have opportunities to travel for events if interested
? Drinking Buddies do not assist with airfare, visa, housing or other personal expenses for this position


Qualifications:
? College/University Undergraduate Degree required in relevant area
