Merck′s Corporate Real Estate received the mandate to manage facility management (FM) for offices globally. Now we build up a new organization and hiring the Head of FM for APAC. You build up the regional organization, based on a developed concept. Your experience and creativity is asked to implement the regional integrator model in approx. 60 offices in 14 countries. You will manage a team of 6 managers as well as contributors across the sites. You are accountable for the resource planning and objective setting within the region. You are responsible for the operation of offices, the performance, quality & necessary standards/guidelines. You are accountable for the regional target setting and controlling of FM operations. You are responsible for the FM budget and the respective planning, by setting operational priorities. You are the Business Partner for the regional business leadership team and accountable for the escalation management process.

The position can be based in Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul or Mumbai.

Who you are:

• University degree in engineering or business administration


• Broad experience in facility management


• Strong leadership skills to manage a cross-cultural team


• Ability to communicate in higher management


• High level of motivational skills for teams in transformational phases


• Results & Customer-oriented


• Ability to develop creative/ innovative concepts


• Broad international business experience and cultural sensitivity


• Fluent written & spoken English
