Compute is the core of Oracle Public Cloud. We deal with wide range of areas: from datacenter infrastructure management to life cycle management, from capacity scaling to troubleshooting an API. It’s guaranteed that your day will never be bored!

Here is a list of what we do, but not limit to…

? Provision new datacenter infrastructure footprint
? Expand OPC capacity
? Continuous deployment to production environment for latest and greatest
? Peer with development team to troubleshoot software application issue
? Participate in on-call rotation to provide Tier3 support of production issues
? Provide automated solution on all operational tasks (our goal is 100% automation)




Qualifications

? Demonstrable knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, distributed systems, and experience supporting multi-tier web application architectures in a web scale environment
? Solid understanding of application design, including the operational trade-offs of various designs
? Solid understanding of Unix/Linux internals
? Demonstrated coding skills in Python and Bash
? Prior experience in versioning control tools, git is preferred
? Prior experience in collaborating tools, such as JIRA and Confluence
? Prior experience in administration of database systems
? Prior experience in Configuration Management such as Chef, Puppet or others
? Prior experience in using Cloud Provider Service such as Oracle Public Cloud, Amazon Web Service, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Compute Engine
? 5+ years experience in production service trouble-shooting that spans applications, systems and network
? BS/MS in CS or Engineering
? Must be fluent in English for both speaking and writing 举报 分享
