Requirements:
-Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or another related
field; bachelor’s degree. Experience with or in law enforcement and eDiscovery experience a plus.
-5 years of proven experience performing investigations and analysis in the computer forensic and
eDiscovery fields, along with a broad understanding of the litigation industry, EDRM, and associated processes and tools.
-Forensic certifications (such as EnCE, CCE, GCFE, GCFA, etc.) required.
-In-depth experience with industry standard digital forensic methodologies and best practices, including: evidence handling, chain of custody procedures, and forensic products (e.g. EnCase, FTK, Blacklight, Macquistion, Cellebrite, Oxygen, etc.)
-Familiarity with the EDRM and eDiscovery products (Clearwell, Relativity,NUIX, etc.) .
-An in-depth knowledge of and experience working on common operating systems (e.g. Microsoft Windows, Linux distributions, MacOS, Android, iOS) application, network security, memory acquisitions and memory forensics.
-An understating of antivirus/malware scanning applications, cryptography, and scripting is essential along with experience using remote acquisition/analysis tools for security log or data collections.
-A level of high personal integrity is mandatory for the role, as is a strong attention to detail, concern for data accuracy and data handling practices. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive mind set is required to establish and maintain relationships with our internal business partners and external vendors.
-A dependable team player who works collaboratively with peers in a team-oriented, environment with the ability to work independently as required. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously from a technical and business facing aspect.
-Excellent analytical, numerical, and written communication skills, with the ability to work proactively to identify and resolve problems with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
-Carry out standard computer forensic investigations, data acquisitions, and eDiscovery tasks for laptop/mobile phones using industry standard tools, in order to provide technical computer forensic advice and assistance to internal business partners.
-Ensure that all investigations are performed in line with legal procedures and internal corporate policies, standards, and procedures; and document actions taken while performing data collection and processing tasks.
-Explaining technical artefacts and findings to a non-technical audience.
-Adhering to established practices, guidelines and procedures to ensure effective operations.
-Maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures for acquisition, analysis and reporting techniques. Authoring and peer review of detailed investigation reports.
-Develop, enhance and maintain operational processes and procedures to ensure a consistent, correct and timely collection and processing of specified sources.
-Evaluate and test industry standard tools and processes used for forensic acquisitions and analysis, writing detailed reports of the testing performed and results.
-Maintaining computer forensic equipment and validating critical equipment and processes.
-Stay current with digital forensic and eDiscovery technology, methodology and regulations; and continue to maintain professional certifications.
-Leading or contributing to key projects within the team.
-Some travel is required (50 %)
