Our client is an award winning international architectural firm, focusing on shopping mall projects across China and America market. An amazing opportunity for a high caliber Project Coordinator / Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Shanghai.
The Project Manager will both lead Project Coordinators and manage projects on their own, they are expected to cultivate relationship with the industry consultants, collect market intelligence, and continue to build up database in support of execution of projects in our specific regions. The Project Manager will be an excellent communicator, solid in the technical knowledge, be adaptive and resourceful, and have already grown familiar with the issues common to US design firms working in China and have the ability to tailor a solution to each situation.
Responsibilities
? Responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities of the China projects;
? Supervise the tasks/duties carried out by the project coordinators;
? Overlooks the execution of the projects and ensure the delivering per the established standards;
? Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and construction attitude, and for developing this attitude in others;
? Developing judgment in handling the variety of non-technical considerations included in project work;
? Monitor the project scheduling and resources planning, and coordinate with head office on project design team resources;
? Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures;
? Assist in the formulation and execution standards;
? Assist in the formulation and execution contract executive tracking log;
? Provide support in business development and marketing activities to promote company works;
? Develop and maintain good relationship with clients and consultants;
? Other tasks per Project Coordinator role;
? Frequent raveling required
Education/Experience/Skills
? Bachelor degree in Architecture
? University English level 6; Fluent English and Chinese speaking and writing capability
? 8 - 10 years working experience in the architecture field
? Registered Architect Preferred
? Be able to travel within China
? Proficient in AutoCad, Photoshop/Illustrator, 3DMax, etc.
? Less experience will be considered as Project Coordinator
