Position Summary


The primary focus of the role will be on project management.To deliver IT services with high quality to clients within a pre-defined scope, resource and schedule. While this will be done with the Business Unit Manager, a high degree of management will be required to ensure success of projects and handlingproject risks and problems.Key attributes include examining the feasibility of the project, analyses and defining requirements.Must assign tasks to internal resources, track progress and manage communication with customers through the whole project life cycle while contributingregular reports on project status.

The incumbent will work closely with the Business Unit Manager to ensure company projects go well within the specified budget.

At the end of the probation period and then as a minimum at the conclusion of each financial year

Position Requirements

Listed, but not limited to, are the key competencies and experience for this position.

Experience and Education

- Bachelor’s degree in IT Management, Computer Science,Information Systems, Supply ChainManagement, Business Management or related work experience (Graduate Degree Preferred)

- More than 5 yearsworking experience with at least 3 years’ experience on project management, preferably in Retail, CRM, ERPor other large Brand IT implementation project experience

- Strong project management skills - time management, stakeholder management, resource planning, risk management, quality control, cost control

- Good people management skills - able to drive team to meet targets

- Good knowledge of Database and SQL

- Experience with reporting solutions

- Proactive person and problem solver

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to learn quick and adapt to new technologies or solutions

- Ability to work under pressure

- Fluent in English and Mandarin in both spoken and written

  

Key Responsibilities

Listed, but not limited to, are the key responsibilities for this position.

1. Project Management

- Examine the feasibility of the project, identify parties involved and has an adequate base of support

- Prepare complete and thorough project plan based on business requirements and company standard processes

- Assign tasks to internal resources, track their progress to ensure timely project milestones

- Follow standard change management process through the whole project life cycle

- Make and implement thetest plan for the project

- Make and implement the project transition plan

- Hold occurred review meeting to update project status to key stakeholders

- Identify risks and make mitigation plan

- Develop and maintain the project documents as knowledge base to benefit subsequent projects

- Make sure the result of project fulfils the agreed requirements and meets the business needs

- Prepare the end-user training plan and support the end user training



2. People Management


- Responsible for the communication plan with client and within team, make sure all team members have a clear project objective, the same understanding, smooth communication and a clear role and responsibility

- Arrange reasonable tasks to team member, find and solve problems accordingly

- Motivate and improve the cohesion of team


3. Reporting

- Reporting to the Business Unit Managerweekly and monthly project processes& team performance reports

- Weekly and monthly project status reports to customer’s project and management team


4. Finances

- Supervise the project toensure it stays within budget

5. Miscellaneous


- Work cooperatively with Business Unit Managers to maximize communication efficiency within the organization

- Travel as required for this position

- Other tasks as directed by the Business Unit Manager

- Work with Management and staff for the project of the company
