Job Summary:
We are now looking for BIOS FW / SW Developers to maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions). Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

Responsibilities:
You will drive strategic technical leadership
Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
Develop and test high quality products
Perform trouble shooting and customer support
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
Develop competence in technical domain
Be part of cross-functional project teams collaborating across multi-sites
To work with external HW and SW suppliers and vendors for product development solutions
To implement design and verification, including:
Design, development and debug of BIOS (System Software) or UEFI Firmware for x86 platforms
BIOS/ FW Design coding, simulation, quality analysis, test case development and maintenance
Comfortable working with HW and Platform issues; including digital board design and lab test
Deliver design specification, test report and related documentation.
Provide support to manufacturing team to increase test quality and yield rates.
Perform Continuous Analysis and Requirement Handling
Develop and Test High Quality Products
Perform Trouble Shooting and Customer Support

Key Qualifications:
BSc level (or above) in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
Min 2 years of experience:
Major in Communication, Computer science, Electronic engineering, Electromagnetic and microwave technology, Automation science or Wireless communication.
Expert in Intel x86 architecture; rich knowledge of x86 platform CPU, chipsets, hardware, schematics, X64 BIOS/EFI experience, PCI-E bus
Very experienced at low level C and assembly programming and debugging
Familiar with Linux System Architecture and Linux system SW development process, debug tools and methodologies
Development experience on Linux, familiar Makefile, Scripting like Perl
Working knowledge of high speed systems and hardware operation theory (e.g. CPU, memory/cache, IO, Industry Standard buses, etc.)
Implements software projects (Web or mobile) based on requirements.
Develop Client, Server and Web Applications
Knowledge and experience programing in Java preferred
Good at C/C++ design, good understanding of OOP
Experience with virtualization technology (KVM, qumu, Hyper-V, VMware), Cloud/SDN (Open Stack, VMware vcloud)
Embedded SW or DSP knowledge
Knowledge on transmission line theory, electromagnetic field theory, time & frequency domain analysis.
High speed digital design knowledge
Experience in the use of lab equipment such as logic analyzers, pattern generators, oscilloscope, etc.
Knowledge of hardware design processes
Knowledge of main BIOS / FW vendors design flows
Proficient in language C, C++, Java or Python is preference
Familiar with Web Front + Web Back End
Deep functional knowledge and design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.)
Experience of frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, JQuery
Experience on mobile applications on Android or iOS is preference
Fluent in English/Chinese speaking and excellent in English/Chinese writing
Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
