Our client is in international group of instrument products with its operation in China. To cope with the fast growing steps, on behalf of our client, Collars Consultants is looking for qualified candidates with high motivation to join the winning team:
Position: General Manager
Report to: China President, Expatriate
Location: Suzhou
OBJECTIVE:
The main focus of the position is the development of the company in line with the Group Strategy in two main areas of activity:
- New production line transfer and localization
- Set-up China Sourcing Center
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-- Leadership and Management of the Company
-- Full Balance Sheet and P& L Responsibility of the Company
-- Implement the Corporate Production and Supply Chain Strategy of the Group in China
-- Set up and Optimize Production Processes and Logistics
-- Purchasing and Supplier Management
-- Production Controlling
-- Set up and Manage Engineering and R&D group
-- Full Legal Representation of the Company
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
-- Well Developed Leadership and Entrepreneurial Skills
-- Over 10 years experience in a Manufacturing / Production Environment preferably in mechanical or instrument environment.
-- Engineering Degree with well rounded Financial and Management Background
-- sourcing and supply chain management in a low cost facility would be advantageous.
-- The ability to build up performance oriented team in a fast growing environment is a feature we will be assessing, as well as the ability to effectively communicate in particular with External Partner of the Company.
-- Concepts of Lean Management.
-- Fluent in Mandarin and English
