Application Packaging - experience in Installsheild, VB Scripts,SCCM 2012,Fluent in English

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Strong communication Skills.
• Keen to learn and adapt quickly.

• Should have know-how of corporate IT environment.
• Inclination towards technical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of at least one ticketing tool (Preferably BMC Remedy)
• ITIL Awareness.
• Ready to work in 24*7*365 support environment.

§ Technology Requirements:

§ Server & Client Management

§ ===========================

§ · Basic understanding of Client installation methods

§ · Basic knowledge on How to install clients.

§ · Basic Understanding of hardware and software prerequisites required for Product Install. Can verify version of software’s present and those required by product for install.

§ · Aware of roles in product install and log file location for the same.

§ · Is familiar with the workings of SCCM & can track activities performed in the console in the applicable logs.

§ · Understands the basic process and is familiar with the services involved on the site and SQL servers.

§ · Understands the basic concept of the MP and its purpose in SCCM.

§ · Basic knowledge on various Windows Operating systems and Server Operating systems, Active directory, Network concepts, SQL & L1 troubleshooting.

§ Application Management

§ ======================

§ ? Should be familiar with names of the log files and relevance of each of the log files (Server and client).

§ ? Difference between the Software distribution / Application Management in CM2007 and CM2012.

§ ? Should be familiar with the different terms and also options for an Application / Package e.g. requirement Rules / Global conditions etc.

? Should know about the different Roles in Software distribution / Application Management and its purpose.
