The Supplier Development Leader is responsible to lead and facilitate supplier improvement projects to develop and improve the external supply chain performance in terms of Quality, Delivery, Cost and Capability. The role will also be accountable for working with new entrant supplier opportunities across manufacturing, with regards to technical, quality and system capability work streams to implement specific, relevant best practices within identified opportunities.

Key Accountabilities
? Operate Develop Existing Supply Chain Performance process (SB5.2) as required.
? Implement projects as part of improving the performance of a business, through the application of appropriate LEAN & Quality improvement tools.
? Train and coach suppliers to improve aspects of their business performance.
? Manage improvement charters to deliver agreed objectives “on-time” and “in-full” within nominated supply chain.
? To lead Cross Functional team to Develop supplier capability to meet current and future requirements.
? Manage and influence multiple stakeholders.
? Offer Support and advice to New Entrant Supplier opportunities on Method of Manufacture .
? Define skill and professional knowledge requirements to support New Entrant opportunities. Identify, co-ordinate & deliver appropriate training to satisfy skill and knowledge requirements where appropriate.
Qualifications:
? Proven track record of application of Lean & Quality improvement processes and tools.
? Proven ability to manage multi problem investigations simultaneously.
? Demonstrated passion for Mfg / Process design and continuous improvement.
? Manufacturing Process and Technical knowledge , Methods of Manufacturing at Plant level (2 -3 years VSM Experiences )
? LEAN & DMAIC process knowledge,Value Stream Mapping
? Practical Problem Solving.
? Has developed and deployed extensive personnel and professional Network ( internal & external )
? HNC or Engineering Degree in relevant Manufacturing Experience.
? Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin skills
