Sales Coordinator, Asia
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an energetic individual seeking a challenging and developmental role as a Sales Coordinator in an existing organisation in Asia with an aggressive growth agenda.
This individual is to assist the Regional Sales and Business Development in supporting the Reps and the sales activities from pre to post-sales support.
The role allows the individual to learn and understand Asian customers and exposure to operational challenges with Asian customers and global Armstrong support teams.
This position is based in Shanghai. The individual will - in the interim report to Commercial Leader for Asia.

Key responsibilities
Assist and support the Regional Sales and Business Development:
Ensure proper pre-order checks and accurate processing of orders
Work with Factory Customer Service (CS) to expedite orders and inquiries
Work with Factory CS and communicate with customer on delivery, Order status, payments, documentations
Work with Technical support (locally and regional) to support Reps and customers on technical enquiries and proposal/bid support documentation
Support Sales and Reps with marketing materials requests
Liaise with Credit Manager regarding Reps account receivables
Liaise with Factory After sales support on warranty issue
Liaise with shipping department for customer order shipment and documentation
Qualifications and requirements
Degree or Diploma in Business administration, Marketing, Industrial / Mechanical Engineering
Experience in Sales Coordination, Customer Service/Support role for min of 1-2 years; exposure to Industrial products/ pump industry experience is preferred
Good communication skills. English is a requirement
Ability to work independently, pleasant personality and a team player
Able to multi-task and work in a matrix organisation
Strong in use of Microsoft Office tools
Attention to detail, sense of urgency and personal drive essential for this job
Able to work on ad hoc evenings from home to liaise with Corporate HQ in Canada on follow up issues for Asia
