Duties and Responsibilities

1 Training of interdisciplinary teams to implement pilot projects coordinated with the product division and/or

product line managers (domestic and foreign) for process analysis and process optimization with the aim

of minimizing costs of mistakes, enhancing process efficiency and thus increasing (internal and external)

customer satisfaction.

2 Assessing processes in order to enable a technical and economic comparison of processes and to

derive corresponding best practice criteria.

3 Developing and adapting international standards in the field of optimization methods and quality tools in

consultation with the relevant specialist departments

4 Specialist and point of contact for statistical special topics, explorative data analysis, statistical testing

methodology and reliability management in order to increase process transparency and support the

improvement process

5 Developing, standardizing and implementing data-driven methods for analyzing and optimizing

processes in order to increase process transparency and systematically build up process knowledge

(process models); determining qualitative and quantitative relationships between process/operating data

and product features; factoring in economic aspects

6 Establishing and maintaining international networks as a tool for the international roll-out of the use of

systematic procedures for process analysis and process optimization in consultation with the relevant

specialist departments

7 Initiating and coordinating, in consultation with the relevant specialist departments, international projects

for grouping, documenting and publishing (e.g. guidelines, checklists, intranet) process and

methodological knowledge involving universities/institutions with the aim of bringing the level of

information in the Group regarding process and methodological knowledge to a consistently high level,

thus increasing the company's competitiveness
