职位描述：
Position Summary
Partnering with suppliers to improve their products/processes to continually drive improvement. Prepare all aspects of process and product quality planning to assure new product launches provide consistent, to specification products. When customer complaints are raised, QE works with the factory to mitigate and validate the improvement. Manage third party testing and factory auditing for various regulatory and compliance requirements (children’s product, WMT testing, CE testing for Europe, etc.)


Position Responsibilities
1. Take part in the new product development meetings and work closely with our design team to understand the issues/actions during development.
2. Work with suppliers to draft quality planning, process flow chart, work instructions, PFMEA, IQC/IPQC/OQC plans to make sure quality planning covers all critical to quality points.
3. Audit trial run/sales sample production event, release report, issue/action list, and support suppliers to correct/improve before first mass production.
4. Assist with reviewing the product specifications to assure key quality callouts are listed.
5. On a daily basis the QE will review the inspection reports, and support if there are lot rejections or trending issues.
6. Review the DPPM on a monthly basis with suppliers who are not meeting their goals and perform monthly on site process audits.
7. When customer complaints are raised the QE team works with the factory to facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action planning using various quality tools. (8D/5 Why)
8. Issue supplier quality performance report, key supplier scorecard on a monthly basis.
9. Develops and implements Supplier Improvement Programs to partner with suppliers on product and process quality improvements. This includes working with supplier & subcontractors, analysis, parts measurement, training, project management and related activities.
10. Create/update inspection procedures, design forms for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data; writes instructions on use of forms.
11. Support manager to arrange third party testing and factory auditing for various regulatory and compliance requirements (children’s product, WMT testing, CE testing for Europe, etc.), follow up corrective/improvement actions with the factories.
12. Under general supervision, plans, conducts, assigns, and/or monitors assignments, including reviewing the progress and evaluating the results of assigned work.


Required Experience
1. Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Quality Engineering or related.
2. At least five (5) years quality engineer related experience preferred. Experiences in supplier quality development and management is a plus.
3. Quality and Process improvements experience.
4. Experience in use and application of quality tools (Process Flow Diagrams, Process Control Planning, PFMEA, 8D...), data collection, analysis and reporting.
5. Experience in fishing rod/reel/bait, electrical product, tools is preferred.
6. Experience in process audit, ISO 9000 knowledge, and youth product management is a plus.

Competencies
1. Good command of written/oral English, CET-6 certificate is preferred.
2. Very good communication skills.
3. Strong analytical, statistical and problem solving skills.
4. Multi-task under pressure.
5. Proactive, self-motivated and creative in finding ways to achieve company objectives.
6. Culturally sensitive and be able to travel and join night calls.
7. Proficient in Word, Excel, Microsoft office, Power Point.
