Job Title:
Quality Engineer-Cypress Board Manufacturing Operations
Location:
SuZhou
Number of Recruits: 1
Job Description:
o Monitoring outgoing quality at CMs factories ( Suzhou) for Cypress module businesses.
o The major customer contact window for Quality issues like RMA, CAR,FA etc.
o Monitoring and controlling the processes and products qualities during NPI start up and mass-production to "Exceed" Customer's specified standards.
o Create, review and update product Quality Plan and to ensure that CM performs quality control activities according to the Quality Plan
o Monitor and control the NPI milestones from quality standpoint
o Responsible to ensure all the periodic quality reports e.g. daily, weekly or monthly are compiled accurately and timely for distribution, including CM's reports
o To conduct periodic quality meeting with CM, Product Engineering, test engineering and relevant functions to review the periodic quality report, and feedback from the CM for corrective actions to be taken to prevent recurrence
o Drive for process continual improvement activities at both Cypress and CM sites
o Perform online and outgoing quality inspection at CM sites.
o Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering zero defect products to customer
o Responsible for sample qualification and follow up
Job Requirements:
o Knowledgeable on notebook or trackpad products manufacturing is a plus
o Knowledgeable and familiar with SMT process for PCBA mfg.
o Working knowledge of ISO9000 / TS16949 / ISO14001. Well use of PPAP
o Rich Experience in relevant product development, hardware engineering and electronics manufacturing
o Experienced in solving engineering issue by use statistic tools such as DOE,CPK,SPC,8D and FMEA is an essential
o Fluent in English (both written and oral)
o Hard working and team player
o Takes initiative and sets high goals
o Customer service orientation
o Smart and confident
Minimum Education & Work Experience:
o 5 years and above experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the PCBA or related electronics manufacturing environment will be preferred.
o Above 5 years in notebook or trackpad assembly industry
o Direct experience of handling Trackpad Module project in house and with contracted manufacturers is an value added advantage
o Bachelor's Degree (4 year college) or above in any engineering discipline. Equivalent certificate in Quality Engineering e.g. is a plus.
