Short Description of Position
Lead planning for cellular network delivery service in support of connected vehicle programs in China.
Key roles and responsibilities
? Manage cellular network carriers to provide connected vehicle and mobility solution coverage for manufacturing plants and other facilities in China.
? Manage local site surveys to determine carrier service requirements and define Ford requirements for Carrier service contracts.
? Manage Carrier Planning budget and supplier commitments and lead governance of carrier service providers and report delivery and service status.
? Manage inventory of cellular network devices for governance and testing.
? Work closely with PD CV&S Team on Carrier Planning coordination.
? Oversee supply of Azure cloud hosting service in China and provide administrative support to the Global Cloud Services team.
? Supervise and develop one subordinate GSR.
Preferred previous experiences / competencies to prepare for the position
? Strong communication and presentation skills.
? Strong skills in collaboratively working with others (including cross-functional teams).
? Ability to operate independently due to out-of-region reporting and time zones differences.
? Ability to write requirements documents, statements of work, and other artifacts to support the above Carrier deliverables.
? Ability to define processes to support the above Carrier deliverables.
? Ability to interpret solution architecture diagrams.
