Position Summary and Mission
The product manager is needed to do market analysis in this PMI family, and coordinate technical development for the projects in the R&D discipline or suppliers. He / she is responsible in the quality and cost for the projects in the quality and production discipline and line management in the market discipline. He/she will be required to work in close cooperation with HQ in Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
Product:
l Take charge of products line in PMI+, including marketing plan, sales promotion, products R&D requirements, business plan, pricing and analysis
l Analysis of problems reported from production line and/or from customer
l Responsible for market requirements, product requirements, business analysis, technical analysis and detailing the findings and recommendations with appropriate teams.
l Assist with the development of functional requirements for product enhancements and new products, ensuring that the requirements identify the market need and the product capabilities required to meet these needs
Project:
l Ensure a reliable and adequate R&D cost for the projects
l Ensure a smooth implementation of all projects
l Act as last instance of technical escalation for all responsible projects
l Ensure that all project activities follow the defined processes
l Ensure that all projects are performed in budget, in quality and in time
l Ensure that quality assurance measures are adopted for all projects
Information transfer:
l Be interface to HQ in terms of technology, standard, process, tooling
l Provide local technical and marketing support to HQ when required
l Major in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or equal
Requirement
Over 5 years of experience in product management
Over 3 years of experience in metrology cluster development will be preferred
Project management experiences at leading up to 10 members
3 years working experiences in international team
Be proactive and pay attention to details
He/she should have good sense /understanding of measuring product industry.
