职位描述
Job Description:
1.Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
-Full understanding of best work practices throughout the plant, including printing, die-cutting/hot stamping, converting and maintenance.
-Review the technological design of new product before it is sent to production.
-Implement S.O.P training.
-Establish and maintain standards for product consumables.
-Attend production meetings.
-Liaise with customers and suppliers for continual improvement in service, trends and quality.
-Make recommendations to management on how we can achieve better efficiencies.
-Assist with minimizing wastage, rejects and downtime through better work practices.
-Make capital recommendations for new equipment.
-Be familiar and able to use statistical data analysis techniques for problem solving.
-Manage and direct daily work activities of production department staff.
-Monitor and observe flow of production of product through plant.
-Oversee customer service work, internal and external with sales force and corporate office.
-Oversee and manage paperwork flow (extra billing costs, invoices, purchase orders, job dockets, sales orders).
-Plan and document future production needs.
2.Job Scope
-Work is frequently new and varied.
-Work involves a high degree of complexity.
-Incumbent determines their own practices and procedures, and contributes to the development of new concepts, technological design, developing and testing materials.
-Duties will be performed with direction from management on major issues only. Errors in judgment could lead to failure to meet critical production deadlines, dissatisfied customers, loss of clients and injury to employees.
-Will be seen as original and value added in brainstorming settings and has the functional, technical knowledge and skills to perform the job at a high level of accomplishment.
-Seldom gives up before finishing, especially in the face of resistance or setbacks and pursues everything with energy and drive. Will use rigorous logic and methods in pursuit of effective solutions while probing all resources to locate and identify any hidden problems.
-Has the ability to learn new skills and technical knowledge quickly and is excellent and honest with all problem analysis.
-Has excellent communication ability when relating solutions and setbacks to superiors and peers.
3.General Requirement from the Management
-Each employee will participant and fully comply with the company Safety and Health Policy.
-As an employee you will apply the customer concept to all activities of your job to ensure quality in foremost in your job.
-Training is an ongoing component of your job that is you as an individual will receive training and likewise it' s your responsible to train yourself and others within the company.
-Continuous improvement techniques are to be applied when ever possible to your job and we must always consider and accept alternative approach to your job.
4.Supervisory Responsibility
-Responsible for direct reports and production performance in printing and finishing departments.
-This responsibility includes employee evaluation, employee counseling and/or discipline, approving any absences or overtime, and making any recommendations for hiring, terminations, pay changes, job changes, and training.
5.Interpersonal Contacts
-Has regular contact with others both inside and outside the organization.
-The most common internal contacts are with own department staff and own supervisor.
-The most frequent external contacts are with sales representatives and customers.
-Internal and external interactions involve information exchange, problem solving, negotiation, and training.
-Internal contacts frequently contain some discussion about confidential/sensitive matters.
Job Requirement:

-Excellent supervision/managerial skills required.
-Excellent communication skills (including listening, writing, speaking) required.
-Public relations skills required.
-Training/development skills required.
-Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and read, write, speak and understand Mandarin/Cantonese.
-Ability to perform math (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, percentages).
-Mental ability to conduct on-going interpersonal interactions, analyze and solve problems essential.
-Mental ability to use independent judgment and/or independent action.
-Ability to actively participate in team development and team-oriented processes and motivate others to do the same.
-Physical ability to use computer hardware/software at a high level required.
-Excellent knowledge of all production processes.
-Knowledge all OH&S requirements.
-Must be Self motivated.
-Excellent knowledge of systems and procedures.
-Full understanding of ISO 9000, ISO 14000, HACCP and GMP requirements.
-Excellent presentation and motivation skills.

-Highly developed problem solving skills and ability to lead and train in these areas.

2.Education and/or Experience
-Associate degree or equivalent specializing in management or a related field.
-Minimum 5 years experience in folding carton industry.
-Minimum 5 years experience in production department.
-Minimum 3 years at a supervisory level.
3.Job Conditions
-Normal office working conditions, must be very mobile, spending a considerable part of the working day interacting with all production processes.
-Job may require working days that exceed 8 hours and/or 40 hours per week.
-Occasional exposure to noise from machinery.
