Entegris is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead the expansion of Entegris’ Advanced Deposition Materials (ADM) business unit in China. He/she will lead cross-functional teams comprised of sales, manufacturing, supply chain, technology, finance, and other functions, as well as having frequent direct interaction with external customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Meet revenue and margin targets with a focus on growth in China;
2. Define and execute a market strategy, synchronizing product line and business unit strategies with regional objectives;
3. Lead global, multi-functional teams to develop resources in China, especially local manufacturing capability;
4. Manage the products produced in China and the assets used to produce those products, ensuring planned return on investment goals are met
5. Interface with the sales organizations, influencing and directing action to meet business objectives including product positioning, pricing, etc.;
6. Partner with Technology organizations to bring new products to market;
7. Make sales calls and presentations;
8. Develop strong product cost of ownership models and business cases to support new initiatives and investments;
9. Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as R&D, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Legal and Supply Chain to accomplish business objectives;
10. Develop demand forecasts for products with documented assumptions and risks;
11. Create and present marketing materials including presentations, data sheets, promotional and training materials;
Successful candidates will typically have the following skill set:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline; an MBA is a plus;
2. 5-10 years of experience working in the semiconductor industry and/or with materials used in the semiconductor industry
3. Past experience in sales, marketing or a customer-facing role is preferred;
4. Product management experience with semiconductor materials is a plus;
5. Experience in the semiconductor materials business; the ideal candidate has a good understanding of semiconductor processes and technology, especially CVD and ALD processes;
6. Experience with high-purity chemical production processes including operations such as synthesis, distillation, packaging, blending, and analytical testing
7. Prior experience managing projects preferred;
8. Proven ability in leading cross-functional teams;
9. Good financial skills including experience with return on investment models and developing cost of ownership models;
10. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal groups and external customers;
11. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can meet goals with minimal supervision
12. Ability to influence up, down, and across the organization;
13. The ideal candidate is a high energy individual who thrives in a fast paced environment;
14. Highly analytical in decision-making processes yet comfortable dealing with a high degree of ambiguity;
15. Good project management skills.
16. Ability to travel domestically within China extensively and occasionally internationally as well as participate in frequent telephone calls outside of typical working hours
