Mission of Function:
- Undertake profit / loss responsibility of category B or C Projects;
- Establish all required procedures within project organization and represent the interests of Siemens during the project execution.
Task:
- Handle all PM@Siemens relevant planning elements and milestones according to project category.
- Manage the project within defined financial targets (budget, target costing and target profit).
- Ensure efficient communication with all relevant stakeholders and within project team.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with the valid processes and regulations.
- Manage customer expectations and conclude the project to the satisfaction of customer.
- In bid phase, analyzing customer requirements and examining technical feasibility and transferability into a bid.
- Throughout project life cycle, identify and assess all risks utilizing risk measurement tools.
Competencies:
- Technologies: Technical knowledge on drives, automation control, rail systems, MS Office, MS-Project
- Methodologies: Project management concerning efficient project organization incl. roles and responsibilities and collaboration, etc., Leadership, e.g. personnel management, team development, motivation, conflict management
- Profess. Knowledge: Knowledge of intercultural communication and collaboration, Knowledge of Business Conduct Guidelines, Rules and regulations for Project Management at Siemens, especially the LoA Process including the Project Compliance Risk Assessment, Project management tools, financial knowledge, English
- Professional: Min. 5 years experience in railway industry
- Project/ Process: 3 years of project manager experience with profit/loss responsibility, additional 2 years core team member in projects
- Leadership: Team sized managed: min. 2 years ≥ 4 team members
- Intercultural: Recommended, has experience of working abroad, has worked in multinational teams
